Display Images

Hi,
when trying to open an image, I get the following error:

**This method may not be correct
Select DISTINCT Per_Image.ImageNumber FROM Per_Image WHERE ((( 87.6868811881188
< Per_Image.ImageNumber ) and ( 166.14356435643566 > Per_Image.ImageNumber ) and
( 0.827917316370587 < Per_Image.Mean_cells_Children_Golgi_Count ) and ( 1.30442
64567348776 > Per_Image.Mean_cells_Children_Golgi_Count ) ) ) ORDER BY rand()
LIMIT 0,1
Select DISTINCT Per_Image.C:\DATA\TestData-GM130,Per_Image.C:\DATA\TestData-GM13
0,Per_Image.Image_FileName_OrigGM,Per_Image.Image_FileName_OrigNUC FROM Per_Imag
e,GM130a WHERE (ImageNumber=129)
java.sql.SQLException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual th
at corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ':
DATA\TestData-GM130,Per_Image.C:\DATA\TestData-GM130,Per_Image.Image_FileName_'
at line 1
**

my path and filenames look like this:
**
ImageNumber 60
Image_FileName_OrigGM 306–15–374–lrrc31–other–GM130.tif
Image_PathName_OrigGM C:\DATA\TestData-GM130
Image_FileName_OrigNUC 306–15–374–lrrc31–other–nucleus.tif
Image_PathName_OrigNUC C:\DATA\TestData-GM130
**

I already changed the path such that it would not contain anymore spaces ’ ', because this is used as an exit symbol as far as I understand…

do you know what’s going wrong here?!

thanks!

Christian.

The second query:
Select DISTINCT Per_Image.C:\DATA\TestData-GM130,Per_Image.C:\DATA\TestData-GM13 0,Per_Image.Image_FileName_OrigGM,Per_Image.Image_FileName_OrigNUC FROM Per_Imag
e,GM130a WHERE (ImageNumber=129)

is phrased to pull a column from the database named “C:\DATA\TestData-GM130”, which is backwards. Your properties file should specify:

red_image_col = Image_FileName_OrigGM 306
red_image_path = Image_PathName_OrigGM
green_image_col = Image_FileName_OrigNUC
green_image_path = Image_PathName_OrigNUC
blue_image_col =
blue_image_path =

This maps the columns in your db that contain your image-paths and image-filenames a color (red, green or blue).

If this doesn’t solve your problem, paste your props file in here (without the db password), so I can take a look at it.

thanks!

it works now.

the main trick was to take a path without spaces.

thanks,
Christian.
